PokerRoom For Mac Players
Macintosh
Compatible PokerRoom
U.S. Mac poker players cannot play for real money at
PokerRoom.com. In the wake of the UIGEA legislation of late
2006, PokerRoom no longer accepts wagers from USA residents.

For Mac players outside of the United States, Poker Room
software is fully compatible with Linux card players.
Poker Room.com is one of the oldest and most trusted online
poker rooms and has been offering no download required online
poker since 1999. PokerRoom was the first poker room to consider
Mac players and Linux code in their software’s design. As a
result, many Mac enthusiasts have become loyal to their brand.
It’s no wonder that PokerRoom.com has up to 7,000 real money
ring games and 25,000+ real money tournament players during
European peak hours.
Linux Poker Room Compatible
Linux players are not shut off from these main rooms, either.
International Mac users can play in any card room at
Pokerroom.com.

plays a hand that is raked $1.20, the that Macintosh poker
player earn 1.2 point points.

a Live $5,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool tournament.
Mac PokerRoom Software Review
The Poker Room software is a long time favorite of both Mac and
Linux enthusiasts. While the PokerRoom.com card room software is
not built to rival its full download windows counterparts, the
interface still functions as a browser based java version. The
Linux-friendly software has all the advanced features online
poker players using Mac have grown to love.
The lobby makes it easy to spot where the soft games are. A
player can simply check the table stats view which will show
average post sizes and view flop percentages. Once a list of
weak players has been developed they can easily be found using
the “find player” feature.
In terms of game play, the graphics are crisp and clear and the
system operates quite well. Pre-action buttons are available.
When playing pot limit or no limit games, you can either
manually type in your bet size or use the action dial to
increase or reduce the bet.
One really nice feature for new players is that PokerRoom’s play
money tables are quite active. This allows players to take a
full test drive of the software before deciding whether or not
they wish to deposit money there.
PokerRoom Poker Games Traffic and Competition Review
Poker Room has been in business since 1999 and has developed
many loyal long term clients. Their original software has
expanded into and entire network, so when playing at
PokerRoom.com you’re actually competing against players from
dozens of other sites. As a result, there is never a shortage of
games whether you’re playing micro limit, ultra high stakes or
anything between. With 7,000 real money ring game and 25,000+
real money tournament players during peak hours there is always
plenty of game selection at all stakes and limits.
Texas Holdem, Omaha, and Omaha Hi/Lo are all offered in Fixed
Limit, Pot Limit and No Limit varieties. 7 Card Stud, and 7 Card
Stud Hi/Lo are available in Fixed Limit and 5 Card Draw is
available in Fixed and No Limit options.
Overall, we consider the player competition to be about average.
Mac players looking for easy prey can find plenty of soft game
scattered between a few tougher ones.
PokerRoom.com Poker Promotions
Poker Room has lots of great promotions including a $50 refer a
friend bonus, Aussie Million qualifiers, GTD prize pool
tournaments and a point based loyalty scheme.
Poker Room Customer Support
If there was one area that PokerRoom.com could use some
improvement on, it would be their emails support. As far as
their live chat and phone support goes, everything is top notch.
PokerRoom Banking Options
Players can deposit and withdrawal using FirePay, Moneybookers,
NETELLER, PrePaidATM Card, Reverse Withdrawal Request and Visa.
Gamblers can also deposit via 900Pay and MasterCard and cash out
via Check/Cheque and Courier Check. Once again, pokerroom.com
does not accept U.S. players, so this applies to Mac gamblers in
Canada, Australia, Europe and anywhere else in the world someone
owns a Mac and wants to play poker online.
